Dalí and Babou

In the 1960’s, ailurophile Dalí acquired his favorite pet cat, an ocelot named Babou from a Colombian Head of State. He took Babou with him everywhere.

Dalí referred to Babou nothing more than a normal cat which he had “painted over in an op art design.”
