EAR-TIPPING is the universally recognized symbol of a cat who been spayed or neutered and vaccinated.
Ear-tipping is a standard part of most Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs because it’s the easiest and best method to let everyone know at a glance that a cat has gone through a TNR program.
Ear-tipping involves surgically removing a small portion of the cat’s L ear while under anesthesia for spay or neuter surgery which means no new kittens will be born.
