National Cat Lover's Month
The Pomeranian is also known as the Zwergspitz. Zwergspitz translates to "dwarfSpitz." Pomeranians are a mini version of a spitz-type dog like the Samoyed or Malamute. The similarities are evident in the fluffy coat, pointed ears and muzzle, and general head shape.
