The Owl and The Pussy-Cat

“The Owl and the Pussy-Cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money
Wrapped up in a five-pound note.”

This famous poem The Owl and The Pussy-Cat by Edward Lear was published in 1871. It tells the story of the love between the owl and the cat and their subsequent marriage.
